Spring-Summer 12/13 – Showroom 22 Media Day

After a crazily hectic few weeks in the Taylor workroom, we presented the start of our taylor Spring Summer 12/13 collection at the Showroom 22 Media Day. The room filled with a mix of Fashion Media and Designers, Hot chocolates and Cakes for a simple clean showing of what Spring Summer will bring.

The Hair was a simple twisted bun by Stephen Marr and the gorgeous fresh makeup by Mac has little pops of white on the upper eyelids. Perfect for our summer ideal at taylor. Amongst my nerves, our beautiful model Yasmin from Clyne, who was just back from New York, showed three of our favourite spring looks from the new collection.

Here is a quick peak at what it is all about….

As the rain pelted down outside we all agreed that summer will be back and We look forward to showing you more in the coming months.

As You know at Taylor we just LOVE New Zealand Merino Wool. We have this year again styled this beautiful nature fabric into some fabulous new shapes, jackets, Tops, Dresses and skirts. There are 10 New limited edition styles in this fabulous fabric.

What an amazing day in Teed Street, Newmarket today.

Our gorgeous “Living Mannequins” from Clyne models, were amazingly styled by Danny and Micheal and the talented D&M Hair team… topped off with stunning makeup by Smashbox Cosmetics. Their slick and fun appearance in our window kept changing and evolving throughout the day… with the girls finishing off Dancing in our front window.

I feel honoured to have so many amazing customers who support me and wear our taylor designs so well.

We hope you had as much fun as we did.

This season is all about texture, and nothing is easier than a beautiful piece of knitwear.

Wrap up and snuggle into our soft knitwear pieces made in a fabulous Merino wools and Mohair blends to give us light but warm and sumptuously soft knitwear.

NZ Fashion Festival has started

This week Our Customers and the Public are invited to see the designer Fashion Shows that you can’t see during the “trade Only” NZ Fashion Week.

The best part about fashion festival is that the clothes will be from our New Enclose collection and will be available in-store and Online for you to purchase after seeing them on the catwalk.

Taylor is showing in Collections 3 – The ViVa Fashion Night 8.30pm at Shed 10 on Queens Wharf. Tickets are $60-$40 from Iticket.co.nz
