We believe in investing in shoes that will last you for seasons to come. They should always make you feel good or might have some fun little details that will make other people do a double take! European shoe brand NUNC are no exception.
NUNC – Designed by Polish born designer Dominika Novak. She works from Paris and produces her collection in Poland.
Dominika’s hairy concept was awarded few times in France – Grand Prix en Creation de la Chaussure 2007 – Charles Jourdan Award, Special Prize CTC, 2006– exposed in Hotel de Ville Paris a l’occasion de Cathrinette. It is shown and described by international press as innovative and original idea. A characteristic feature of shoes is unprocessed leather – with the fur still intact. I’m looking for a balance between stylish, elegant form and rough fabric. I like when the leather is not died, with all natural patterns. It’s a big challenge when you have 100 pieces of leather and each one is different, for each one you have to find another solution, another way of placement. Each animal is unique and its colouring is almost like person’s fingerprints. This is why each pair of shoes is different, completely unique.
This season, we have gone with texture from the NUNC new season collection AW11/12 and have two styles which feature lots of it. Even better no nugget required… just a good brush and your shoes stay looking perfect

I have already found so many excuses to wear my Converge Boots already, don’t let the hair put off, they are surprisingly versatile and the hair makes them look almost liquid and of course black goes with everything! They are the perfect accompaniment to those beautiful floaty and sheer pieces we have been loving this season such as the Tucked Oblique Tunic or Adrift Dress. They add depth to your outfit and look really chic with just Venetian Pants or Integral Pants tucked into them and finished off with the Alias Jacket.

The Blocked Heel Pump is the essential sort of shoe that will look great with everything! We love these because of that solid heel, it is just so practical and comfortable, without compromising that elegant cut of shoe.
