MEET GEORGIA - WELLINGTON MANAGER

Wellington Manager Georgia

Say hello to Georgia, our fabulous new Wellington Store Manager! Discover Georgia's interests, signature style, favourite taylor pieces for the season and make sure you come in and say hi!

Who are you and how did you come to work for taylor? I’ve been in love with taylor ever since I was introduced to it in 2015. When I saw the position open up, I knew I had to go for it! I’d been a part of their Merino Weeks as a Live Mannequin in the past, and the people, clothes and environment just resonated with me.

What is the best thing about working in The Old Bank Building? The location! I’m spoilt for choice for my morning coffee. It’s also a stones throw from our famous little waterfront.

How would you describe your signature style? Lets keep this simple, it's: baggy, textured, and most importantly black.

What are your favorite picks from taylor’s new season? It’s hard having to only pick a few from the Distant Latitude Collection! The Principal Pants in black are an absolute given. The kick at the end of the pant adds an artistic dimension to the piece. They’re the easiest piece to dress up or down depending on my mood. Not to mention they’re so comfortable! The Relay Jumpsuit also takes the cake. The fitted body and wide leg is a bold shape. It's the epitome of a sophisticated statement outfit. Last but not least, the Capacity Coat in Black Diamond. I don’t need to tell you why… look at it.

Something or someone that inspires you, and why? Aside from my amazing family - it’s the freedom and environment of living in Wellington. This place is a melting pot of cultures, styles and personalities. Living in the coolest little city in the world reminds you that the world’s your oyster.

Where would we find you on a Friday night? Trying my best at a quiz night on Courtenay Place! (When we don’t know the answer we just write down names to Britney Spears songs!)

Where would we find you on a Sunday morning? In bed, or if we’re living in a perfect world I’ll be at Oriental Bay going for a run!

What piece of advice would you give your 16 year old self? 1. Stop eating chocolate you’ll get addicted. 2. Don’t sweat the small stuff! Life has a great way of working things out if you really care.

So make sure you come in and see Georgia with her fresh new hair style!
