COLLECTORS EDITION - THE LANDSCAPE PRINT

The Landscape print is an original artwork by NZ artist, Rebekah Farr, looking towards the Taraua Ranges that surround the Wairarapa. This artwork evokes a feeling of tranquillity and pays homage to the world around us and the ever-growing need to respect and care for our surroundings.
Te pae maunga o Tararua is constantly changing throughout the day and from season to season. Sometimes the silhouette is sharp and black against a crisp blue sky, sometimes hidden by clouds, sometimes there is wispy fog around the purple foothills and the peaks are monochrome against a white sky, or the folds and valleys are rolling green and the peaks white with snow.
The combination of paint to fabric adds a layer of anticipation, changing how the fabric moves and how cutting the fabric will create new variations of artwork.
