Shadows murmur where light lingers, a presence in absence, a shape both fleeting and timeless. This season, the dance begins. Light bends, reflections shift.
This season, taylor steps where light meets dark, where form is both revealed and obscured. Spring Summer 2025 introduces Shadow Play, a collection shaped by the ephemeral dance between light and shadow. Exploring the shifting axis of perception, the collection is informed by the way light defines space, how it bends, refracts and drapes across the body. As shadows move, so too do the garments, subtly changing with every step, gesture, and beam of light.
A quiet dialogue between presence and absence. A sleek monochromatic palette gives way to moments of colour. A moody haze dissipates into clarity, enlivened with shades of moonscape and citrus.
Reflections. Absence. Illumination. These tensions form the backbone of the collection’s visual language. Colour evolves from moody greys and softened blacks to cool sky blues and pale hues touched by light. Just as the blue sky becomes the light source when the sun disappears, a subtle spectrum emerges in shadows, revealing that they are never truly void of colour, only complex in tone.
