WINTER LAYERING LESSON - 4 STEP GUIDE

Winter is here and we are in desperate need of additional layers to help us stay warm and cozy all winter long. Create a signature layered taylor look with our best selling layering staples we keep going back to season after season! To achieve that sleek silhouette, here's a four-step guide to effortless and chic dressing with layers.

Create a base layer with a pair of relaxed and chic pant styles. A vital piece for any wardrobe. If you're planning on layering a piece over the pants such as a long top or dress we recommend wearing high-quality and comfortable pieces that are guaranteed to keep you warm, dry and covered during the wet season.

Opt for high quality, warm and comfortable styles such as the Knit Propagate Pant, Merino Variegate and the Cogent Pant. The Raised Intensify Leggings and the Raised Integral Pants are perfect for a sleek silhouette as they hug the skin and team perfectly with looser, floating tops. For a light and comfortable feel opt for the Washed Station Pants.

Now that you have chosen the pants, all you need to do is select your favourite Extension Tank and your base layer is complete! The perfect piece to layer up with all your taylor looks, the Extension Tank can be worn front to back, or back to front for true versatility. We have two versions of this beautiful tank. On the left, we have The Ribbing Extension Tank which features sturdy and thick straps that are great for the wintertime and on the right we have the Long Extension Tank featuring thinner straps.

Now for the fun part! Choose your favourite taylor top to wear over all your layers. At the moment we are loving the Textured Embark Shirt (pictured on the left) and the Undulate Top (pictured on the right). For longer style tops and dresses opt for longer coats and jackets such as the Cropt Originate Coat and Revered Capacity Coat, or if you want the best of both worlds, opt for the Detachable Perforate Coat (pictured on the right) as this style can be worn cropped and full length, simply unbutton the bottom layer for a whole new look!
